This blog was created in August 2013 after I met Eli D, a digital nomad visiting Thessaloniki for the first time.  Eli was in Thessaloniki for one month trying to live like a local.

Each August Thessaloniki is like a ghost city, all the locals are gone to the beach, leaving the city empty for visitors to enjoy. Unfortunately, there is not much information around to help them explore the city.

This blog will give you all the necessary city info, general tips and advice to help you explore the city, links to other useful sites, info on major upcoming events, as well as suggestions on my personal favourite city spots.

Almost all of the photos you will see here are taken by me.  Feel free to copy or repost them but please mention the source if you do!
