As Thessaloniki fills up with cinephiles, directors, and visitors from all over the world for the 67th Thessaloniki International Film Festival, our city has another massive reason to celebrate. The new Michelin Guide has officially landed, shining a brilliant spotlight on our booming gastronomic scene.
With the historic center buzzing with energy and every restaurant table in high demand, festival-goers looking for places to eat have some world-class options. In fact, looking at the list, I realized that even as a local who constantly explores the city, I’ve only managed to check off about half of them so far—proof of just how rich and active Thessaloniki’s food scene truly is!
Thessaloniki Shines in Bib Gourmand & Special Awards
The latest Michelin edition brings major distinctions to Northern Greece, cementing our reputation as a top-tier food destination:

The Recommended Highlights: The guide also honors wonderful spots across the city, including 7 Thalasses, Charoupi, L’Albero, and Akti Ntovil, right alongside classic favorites like Olympos Naoussa, Salonika, Mavri Thalassa, and Nea Diagonios.
Whether you are rushing between screenings at Olympion and the Port warehouses or looking for a long, leisurely lunch to debate the latest films, Thessaloniki’s dining scene is ready to impress.
