Every now and then, a place opens up in Thessaloniki that completely redefines how we experience the city. That is exactly what happened when we first stepped into Ergon Agora East a few weeks ago. Located on the eastern side of the city, right by the water, this massive, beautifully designed space instantly blew us away. But the absolute highlight that stole our hearts is their expansive outdoor area. Imagine a lush green lawn rolling right down to the edge of the sea, dotted with ultra-comfortable sun lounges. Sinking into one of those lounges with a cold drink in hand, feeling the coastal breeze, and watching the sun dip below the horizon is pure magic. It forces you to slow down and just enjoy the moment.
It’s a place that perfectly captures the modern, open-minded spirit of Thessaloniki—deeply connected to high-quality Greek gastronomy, yet laid-back, contemporary, and completely unpretentious.
It is exactly what we needed after the long Covid lockdown winter, which we hope will never come back again.
